ACC Ltd is India's foremost manufacturer of cement and concrete. The company is engaged in the manufacturing and selling of cement and ready-mixed concrete. They manufacture a range of Portland cement for general construction and special applications. In addition, they also offer two products namely; bulk cement and ready mix concrete. The company's operations are spread throughout the country with 17 modern cement factories more than 90 Ready mix concrete plants several zonal offices and a vast distribution network of over 11000 dealers. Their subsidiaries include ACC Concrete Ltd Bulk Cement Corporation (India) Ltd ACC Mineral Resources Ltd Lucky Minmat Ltd National Limestone Co Pvt. Ltd and Encore Cements & Additives Pvt Ltd.ACC Ltd was incorporated on August 1 1996 as The Associated Cement Companies Ltd. The company was formed by the merger of ten existing cement companies. In the year 1944, they established India's first entirely indigenous cement plant at Chaibasa in Bihar. In the year 1956 they established a bulk cement depot at Okhla Delhi.
