Pan African Resources Plc is an exploration company, which engages in mining and production of gold and precious metals. It operates through the following segments: Barberton Mines, Evander Mines, Solar Projects, MTR Project, Mining Operations, Exploration Assets, Agricultural ESG Projects, Corporate, and Funding Company. The Barberton Mines segment sells gold to financial institutions located in Barberton, South Africa. The Evander Mines segment offers gold to financial institutions located in Evander, South Africa. The MTR Project segment is for the process of gold tailings deposits in the Mogale district. The Solar Projects segment consists of the solar plant located at Evander Mines. The Exploration Assets segment consist of five prospecting concessions (or exploration licenses) in north-eastern Sudan. The Agricultural ESG Projects segment comprise the Group's Barberton Blueberries project. The Corporate segment consists of the Group's holding companies and management services company which renders services to the Group and is in Johannesburg. The Funding Company segment is the centralized treasury function of the Group located in Johannesburg. The company was founded on February 25, 2000 and is headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa.
